Your online donation/registration is secure with Enfant Soleil. Your personal and credit card information is sent in the form of an encrypted electronic message that cannot be altered or decoded by a third party, since it has been encrypted to guarantee the confidentiality of the information it contains.

Enfant Soleil complies with SSL secure transmission standards: your transaction will always be routed securely. Enfant Soleil does not store any credit information on any transaction. This is why you must submit your credit information for each new transaction.

Whereas: Donors who make a donation by telephone or via the website using a credit card do not present their card, and therefore no mechanical imprint or reading of the magnetic strip is made.

Whereas: in such cases, donors may claim that no donation has been made by them, or that they have been the object of an error or malice on the part of an unidentified person.

Whereas: in such cases, it cannot be proven that the donor has actually made a donation using this payment method.

Whereas: the donor may request reimbursement of his or her donation from the financial institution that issued his or her credit card.

In this case, it is agreed that Enfant Soleil and the donor agree to respect the following procedure:

Any request for reimbursement of a donation made by credit card must be made in writing to Enfant Soleil by the donor, who must specify the reason for the reimbursement request and attach a copy of his or her most recent statement. Then, by means of communication of his choice (by telephone or in writing), the donor must transmit his name, address, credit card number and all data relating to the transaction to Enfant Soleil.
Following this request, Enfant Soleil will verify the information submitted, ensuring that it is consistent with its records and that the amount has not already been contested.
After verification, within a reasonable period (less than 10 business days), Enfant Soleil will proceed with a credit transaction on the same credit card used for the initial donation.
Thereafter, Enfant Soleil will correct its records to cancel any charitable receipts issued for this donation.
